Go Wakonda! Face painting was a highlight at Session 2 Carnival, thanks to volunteers from Knock Knock Give a Sock! Volunteers also hosted stations for campers to make beaded bracelets and paint on miniature easels—both equally big hits. Memories were not only made but were made permanent with polaroids for the campers to commemorate their final day at Camp Wakonda. Ben & Jerry’s reappeared to satiate the hunger of the children as they ran over from the water slide and dunking their counselors in the dunk tank. Just in case that wasn’t enough—cotton candy and popcorn filled in the cracks that the ice cream may have missed. Bring on Session 3!
